With proper care, your knitwear will stay in excellent condition and last for years.
- Avoid wearing your knitwear for more than 1-2 days in a row. Allow it to rest after a full day of wear.
- Wool naturally resists stains, odors, and grease, so frequent washing is unnecessary. Washing less often will help preserve the garment. When washing is required, turn the knitwear inside out. Use the wool program on your washing machine with a low spin speed and temperature. Use neutral detergents, ideally a specialized wool detergent.
- After washing, lay the garment flat to dry, keeping it away from direct heat sources.
- Never store knitwear on hangers, as this can stretch it out of shape.
- To remove wrinkles, hang the knitwear for a shirt period of time in a steamy bathroom for a gentle refresh.
- In the beginning, it’s common for the fabric to produce excess fibers. This will diminish after 2-3 washes. Carefully remove pilling with a soft brush to maintain a smooth finish.
