We are proud to work closely together with renowned fabric mill Loro Piana for our made-to-measure offering. Located in the Piedmont area of Northern Italy, Loro Piana is known for their production of high-end wool and cashmere. Since the early 1800s the Loro Piana family has been a pioneer in the wool and fabrics industry and has been at the forefront of technical innovation through centuries. Loro Piana is the most known for their super soft cashmere – they are the largest cashmere and baby cashmere manufacturer in the western hemisphere. The finest and most precious fibers are sourced from Australia and New Zealand (merino wool), Peru (vicuña) and Mongolia (cashmere). These unique raw materials are then meticulously crafted into fine textiles in Italy by some of the country's most skilful artisans.We have a wide selection of Loro Piana fabrics available at our showrooms to create suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, overcoats and bodywarmers.
Drago Lanificio is located in Biella, on the foot of the Italian Alps, and is known for their high-quality fabrics. The values of the Italian tradition are interpreted in a modern and innovative way. Drago is a fully integrated wool fabric mill that produces from a careful selection of the best raw materials around 1.7 million meters of high quality fabric. Back in 2021 we've visited Drago at their various locations in the Biella region and saw what an exceptional company it is. Every step of the process has been carefully been put together and optimized to produce the best quality fabrics. We're a big fan of their Rugby Flannel, Skyfall Coat and Cortina S160's collection.
The Italian fabric mill Lanificio Rogna crafts top-quality fabrics, including a range of precious blends combining wool with silk, Mongolian cashmere, and linen with unique features. The fabrics are the perfect combination of the heritage of British style and the superb Italian textile manufacturing tradition. The mill was founded by Leonardo Rogna who worked side-by-side with Ermenegildo Zegna from 1981 to 2007, as chief designer and line builder for many other famous brands such as Gucci, Versace, Tom Ford and YSL. In 2007, Leonardo Rogna retired and opened his own studio “Leonardo Rogna Laboratorio Tessile”. Together with his son he worked on numerous projects with well-known brands and houses such as Tom Ford. In 2019, Lanificio Rogna was created to provide selected tailors and fashion houses with limited, curated fabric collections. One of our personal favourite Rogna fabric collections is the 4PLY collection, with 4-ply fabrics in various colours. A 4-ply yarn consists of four strands twisted together. The advantage of using 4-ply yarn is that it tends to be more durable and stable than single-ply yarns. Additionally, 4-ply yarn often provides better wrinkel resistance.
